I am a private client solicitor at Birketts LLP who has 13 years experience helping internationally mobile clients with their tax and succession planning. My clients include individuals who are moving to or leaving the UK, the trustees and directors of offshore structures and UK clients who own assets overseas.

Every country has its own laws about how your estate will be divided when you pass away. Ensuring that any UK succession planning is compatible with overseas law is a key part of my practice.
